A great pine with a powerful image that will only get better with some reshaping work.
I first came across this tree thirty years ago. Since then it has matured well and developed a great aged appearance in the bark.
It is growing well and developing good a structure.
As a miyajima grafted white pine it is generally very easy to care for and with the correct cultivation will need very little work.
It is a slow growing variety that will almost take care of its own shape with a minimal pruning.
Currently undergoing some gentle refinement.
