Introducing this stunning Japanese Snowbell, Styrax japonica, raft style bonsai tree, expertly cultivated in the UK.
In my forty plus years I have never seen another styrax in this style or size.
Initially created by me from the top half of a 30 year old tree in 2014.
The character of this tree is impressive. The rooted trunk shows pleasent movement along the ground and has strong roots all along the length of the tree.
I am still making adjustments to the structure and it is improving all the time.
 
It has developed well and has established itself in the last 10years to it's new life as a bonsai.
I feel this tree is destined for great things in exhibitions where it is sure to be a hit.
