I have made a few of these Japanese maples with some extra curvy trunks.
Grown from seed in 2020 and ground grown until 2023.
The hard bit is done and now its time to grow them on and start to develop branches and thickness in the trunk.
Some rootwork and arrangment of the nebari has been done but of course it will need to be continued.
They are in small training pots to facilitate potting them into slightly bigger pots for their immediate future developing.
 
The taller ones were grown with another project in mind which was to air layer them at various points to make smaller trees from one trunk.
Now it's up to you how these will progress.
