Hardly ever seen as bonsai holly can make a dramatic change to the usual line up of species.
If pruned regularly the younger new shoots have softer leaves which helps make wiring a more comfortable endeavour.
 
This unusual holly is covered in small, spiny, bright green glossy leaves, which have warm coppery-red serrated edges. 'Little Rascal' is a compact and bushy evergreen with dainty white flowers in spring. It is a male only variety so it will not go on to produce any berries.
