This UK grown, old oak boasts a well-aged trunk.
Oaks of this quality, with aged and rugged bark and such an interesting style, are rare finds.
This tree can be grown as a semi-cascade or as an informal upright. The nebari is pretty good for an oak of the size and makes this tree quite valuable.
 
Over the years it has been refined by gradually building up the branch structure and creating this interesting style. The English Oak thrives with minimal maintenance.
 
The national tree of England. Generally very hardy and easy to care for, it should be grown outside all year with perhaps some minimal protection in winter. During hot summer days some shade would be beneficial.
