These pre-bonsai Chinese red pine bonsai tree are an unusual variety for bonsai in UK.
This is the variety that grows in the mountains of China and are depicted in many Chinese scrolls.
 
Now they are ready for growing on for another season or two to fatten them up.
You don't need to prune anything yet, just fertilise well and allow them to grow freely to thicken the trunk.
From there its up to you how big you let them get.
