Here is a quick update and some pictures of the cuttings that were taken 6 years ago.
Some of the colourful varieties are now showing their other colours so I must be careful not to prune those branches that are showing the different colours.
Above is a Kanuma-no-Kagayaki, 6 years old from cutting (far right) with colour starting to break through now so selective pruning to encourage all the flower varieties and variegations.
Most of the branches with all white flowers will contain mutation for the red colours too so even flowers with tiny specks of red must be marked out for keeping.
The flowers that are completely red will continue as they are and will not develop the variegations.
