Coniferous Trees
They are classic subjects for bonsai large and small.
Here is a selection of conifer species including pines, junipers and cypress to name but a few. Popular varieties include the Itoigawa Juniper with its superb fresh green foliage and Japanese Black and White Pine for their classic good looks gnarled bark and fine needles.
Most coniferous species are fairly easy to care for even for beginners.
No bonsai show would be complete without a good selection of quality conifer species to admire. From mame and shohin size bonsai to massive trees in japanese landscapes there is something for everyone in this family.
